Explosion-proof cast-in elements are heating products where the heating elements have been moulded into aluminium, copper alloy, bronze or another iron alloy with good heat transfer characteristics. The heating mould material transfers the heat to the product that needs to be heated. By casting the above-mentioned materials, an excellent homogeneity in heat transfer is accomplished.
Explosion-proof cast-in elements can be used up to temperatures of 950 °C.
