Explosion-proof heat tracing is used for pipes, valves, fittings and instrumentation pipes, fire-fighting pipes, etc.
The ATEX heat tracing systems of Heating Group International are also used at ships, FPSO’s and oil rigs since it is normal in these applications that electricity is the only available source of supply.

Heating Group has a special program of heating cables for areas with a hazardous atmosphere. Of course, our full range of explosion-proof heat tracing cable has an ATEX (IECEx) certification. This also counts for the explosion-proof thermostats and other ancillaries. Our engineers are happy to design a bespoke solution for your specific situation.
The applications are in the field of frost protection, anti-condensation, defrosting, maintaining a (process) temperature, heating up and melting of products.
