FSR cable is an industrial/commercial grade self-regulating heating cable that can be used for frost protection or temperature maintenance of pipes and vessels in the construction and refrigeration industries.
Technical adviceSelf-limiting heating cables increase or decrease heat output depending on changes in ambient temperature. This eliminates the need for a thermostat, as the heating cable will never overheat.

The FSR cable does not overheat or burn out even when it overlaps itself. The power regulates itself in response to tube temperature.

FSR heating cable is available with power ratings of 10, 17, 25, 31 and 40 W/m, as illustrated in the graph to the right.
The graph shows the rated output at 230V when installed on insulated metal tubing.
