The FSS is an industrial-grade self-regulating heating cable that can be used for freeze protection or temperature maintenance of pipes and vessels up to 225°C. The FSS heating cable can be cut to size on site for exact pipe lengths without complicated design considerations.

This FSS heating cable is approved for use in non-hazardous and hazardous environments according to worldwide standards. Its self-regulating properties improve safety and reliability.
The FSS heating cable does not overheat or burn out even when it overlaps itself. The power regulates itself in response to tube temperature.
Power range
The FSS heating cable is available with power ratings of 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 W/m, as illustrated in the graph to the right.
The graph shows the rated output at 230V when installed on insulated metal tubing.
May be cut at any point, making it easy to customize on site.
Within its operation, the cable limits itself, and because of this, the cable cannot burn out.
Ideal for environments where ATEX is a requirement.
