Explosion-proof convectors by Heating Group are specially designed for heating rooms in a flammable atmosphere. These heaters are a reliable heat source for industrial applications requiring high standards of safety, e.g. (oil) refineries, fuel storage areas, wastewater installations, battery charging stations, (petro)chemical sites, chemical storage areas, paint storage areas, paint mixing rooms, aircraft hangers, natural gas plants and so forth.
Technical advice
The explosion-proof convectors are designed for frost protection and temperature maintenance in small workshops and warehouses, where an ATEX certified product is obligatory.
The convectors are suitable for use in zone 1 and zone 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC).
These explosion-proof convectors have been specially developed for areas with higher people traffic, which makes it necessary to have extra protection around the heating element.
The applications of these explosion-proof convectors are for example on offshore locations, painting areas, gas installations, containers, firework factories and emergency showers. Furthermore, you will find them in battery shops, gas pumps and storage for ammunition. The convector can be used for both floor and wall mounting
Excluding the thermostat, the external thermostat is available as an option.
