History of Heating Group International

Heating Group International b.v. was founded in 2005 by Ton Ippel. His vision has always been to become an international player in the market for (industrial) electric (process)heating. In 2005 the first acquisition was a fact: we took over MechaHeat in Oss. After that things really ramped up, with acquisitions in 2006, 2007 and 2008. After the last acquisition in that sequel (Jirlumar), a company was created with a delivery portfolio unparalleled on the Dutch market in terms of width. From there, Ton wanted to deepen the portfolio, by adding control panels for the supplied heaters (from components to systems), adding an assembly activity, but also by adding montage.

In 2008, however, the crisis started, and the continuous "double-digit growth" was no longer possible for a number of years. In the end, Heating Group has grown each year, but it was only after 2013, that major steps were taken again.

In that year, we merged all companies and brands under the name Heating Group International b.v., and we also merged the last independent location (Buveco) with the other companies in Wijchen. Moreover, we also started manufacturing ourselves at this point.

Currently, Heating Group International is continuously growing again. The “double-digit growth figures” has been back for a couple of years. The production is growing fast, and there is a constant increase in the demand for our standard products. Now it's time for the next step. Since 2018, we have been working intensively on this; living up to the last word of our company name. We are going to export our products. We already do that on a project basis, but now we are looking for resellers, initially in Europe. The first collaborations are a fact, among others in Germany, England, Ireland, Slovenia, and Denmark. In the next few years, this will grow, both with these existing partners and through new dealers.
