These are heating elements that consist of ceramic stones equipped with channels with one or more resistance coils threaded therein. These elements are mounted in closed metal pipes. They are particularly suitable for horizontal installation. If fitted with a metal pin, a vertical arrangement is also possible. These heating elements are available in various diameters and all possible voltages and powers.
A ceramic heating element is mainly used for heating liquids with a low watt load and for applications where heating elements should be easy to replace. This occurs, for example, with tank heating, where one does not want to empty the tank.
